Every week the bar will feature different happy hour beers or wines to complement your shellfish feast. Friday, the bar features Petit Verdot Grand Gose from Fieldwork Brewing Company. This locally brewed German style beer is marked by it's opaque, violet appearance — the sign of an unfiltered, top-fermented beer. Not your typical sour, drinkers enjoy massive leathery notes, hints of tobacco, delicate tannins, and very effervescent cranberry-like finish. If you like your oysters with a touch of red, vinegary mignonette sauce, this is the pairing for you! Sour beers lend acidity to oysters while also bringing out their natural sweetness. 10oz pours for $5!
