Tobin Threadgill is the head of Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai, a classical budo school which includes weapon training and tactics associated with the warrior class of late Edo period Japan. This style of jujutsu develops themes underlying bujutsu, in general, and shares elements with Wado-ryu karate and the Daito Ryu aikijutsu from which aikido was formulated. Yamakage Dojo under the direction of Ash Morgan Sensei (hosted by Aikido of Berkeley 1514 University Ave.) is very happy to have the privilege once more of hosting Kaicho Threadgill.
