Xenia Harder — HI Fisherman’s Wharf
“It’s funny to me when everyone is asking me to call it art, for me, it’s sketches. It’s to kill time when I spend 80 hours on a train. There are very different forms of shapes, colors and when I see something new in a different place, I get inspired. Every place I see creates new shapes and colors in my mind. For example Moscow’s Zwiebelturme (“Onion Tower”) in German, the golden roof in Russia, it’s a Russian thing.”
Jameson McQueen — HI Fisherman’s Wharf
“I like to take photos of people. People are interesting to me. When traveling, I absorb more and look at everything subconsciously. Especially when I travel alone. It’s really different, such a different culture.”
Emily Frances Carrasco — HI Fisherman’s Wharf
“I see my work as a temporary departure to a place deep within. Consumed with a permanent nostalgia for all things, my work is a homesickness for a space to be rooted to, a longing for wanting the imaginative.”
Aisha Collazo — HI Fisherman’s Wharf
