Initially cutting his teeth as a club resident, SG Lewis made a name for himself with the warm, bass-heavy embrace of his debut ‘Shivers’ EP and signature remixes for London Grammar, Flume, Disclosure and label mate Jessie Ware. The release was a springboard into international acclaim and his follow-up EP ‘Yours’ gave SG notoriety as a go-to producer for the best upcoming talent, a reputation he made good on after crafting Ray BLK’s breakout track ‘Chill Out’. After cultivating a major base in the US through international touring, SG Lewis returns to the States later this year for a run of shows between September and October. His continuing UK and European tour is making stops in major festivals throughout Summer with full details below.
SG’s elastic references span soulful R&B, disco, hip-hop, dark techno and deep club bangers, an eclecticism that leads him to blend and cross genre boundaries. With huge upcoming collaborations and releases to be announced over the coming months, ‘Times We Had’ represents the start of SG Lewis’ journey through the infinite lights and colours of electronic music.
Yoshi Flower —
Detroit born, LA based, Yoshi Flower blends together his obsessions of indie-rock, hip-hop, Electronic, liberation and revolution to create a tone pallet uniquely his own. Yoshi chased love to Los Angeles at the turn of 2017 and found himself navigating the extremes of bohemia and materialism. Struggling to make ends meet he began finding work as a songwriter and producer. An encounter with Elohim found him a home in Topanga Canyon where he began writing material for a new solo effort. Hot off his debut live show at Bonnaroo, Yoshi is now hitting the road and recruiting like minds to join the Flower Children (a peace-group with a militant aesthetic, a disdain for inequity, and a focus on liberating the youth from commercial packaged bull-sh*t).
