#Luciddreaming, or #awareness in dreams, is a powerful practice of awakening to the great dimensions of our creative mind. The practice of lucid dreaming challenges our #perception and habitual patterns and can lead to the practice of lucid waking. In this workshop, Fariba Bogzaran focuses on historical, scientific, and phenomenological #research on lucid dreaming as well as the current dialogue about this subject.
Explore the #crosscultural views of lucid dreaming in the context of #spiritual experiences and development, creative inspirations, problem-solving, and how the practice is used as an awareness vehicle to prepare for dying. Fariba's innovative methods teach awareness methods in waking and dreaming in addition to providing practical and creative tools for viewing your dreams.
Fariba Bogzaran, PhD, a scientist, and artist is one of the pioneers in the field of #dreamstudies. She founded the graduate dream studies certificate program at JFK University and taught there for twenty-five years. With her #creative methodology, she has trained students and professionals in working with dreams internationally since 1984. An expert in lucid dreaming, her work is informed by her training in #sleepscience, #psychology, #shamanism, and art. She is the co-author of two major academic books on dreams: Extraordinary Dreams (2002) and Integral Dreaming (2012), both published by State University of New York Press. She is adjunct faculty at CIIS.
