La Santa Cecilia
Grammy Award winning La Santa Cecilia exemplifies the modern-day creative hybrid of Latin culture, rock and world music. This six-member group draws inspiration from all over the world, utilizing Pan-American rhythms like cumbia, bossa nova, rumba, bolero, tango, jazz, rock and klezmer music .Their unique sound and the experience of their colorful, passionate performance leaves fans and new listeners mesmerized. They are proud to be from the City of Angels.

LoCura
“(LoCura) Fuse elements of punk, funk, reggae and Cuban son to create a sound that’s as urgent — and exhilarating — as the politics of resistance they embrace." — WASHINGTON POST (4/16/12 in print and online)

“LoCura is an explosion of sonic sunshine with crisp percussion and guitar work, driving bass lines, soaring brass, and dynamic sass from lead singer Kata Miletich”
— Rupa Marya from Rupa and the April Fishes

NPR Alt Latino — soundcloud.com/soja-music-productions/locura-on-npr-april-2012

“The seven-piece band crashes through stylistic barricades with a kinetic blend of ska, son, funk and nueva canción. It's party music for the revolution (or a musical uprising looking for a party).” – The San Francisco Chronicle

«LoCura is one of the hottest groups emerging out of the Bay Area music scene.» — SF Guardian
LoCura was featured in a small list of National Geographic Music “What’s Hot” in March 2012

La Pelanga
La Pelanga is a DJ collective born out of Cali, Colombia, and based in Oakland, California. Since 2008, we bring together our community around a crazy, positive dance floor with the freshest sounds from Kinshasa and Cartagena, Port au Prince and Nueva York, Oakland and Abidjan. We mix the old with the new, the city and the village, bombardinos and autotune: cumbia, dancehall, afrobeat, salsa dura, soukous, champeta, kompa, hip hop, coupé decalé, currulao, and much more.
