Please join Food First, Professor Miguel Altieri, and a delegation of Cuban permaculturists from the Antonio Núñez Jiménez Foundation for a workshop on biological pest management, using attractive and repellent plants and following permacultural principles.

In addition to learning new techniques for agroecological gardening and farming, this is an opportunity to learn more about the Cuban movement for alternative agriculture.

The delegation is sponsored by CUSAN, the Cuba-US Agroecology Network, which works to connect people, institutions, and movements in Cuba and the U.S. to build more ecologically resilient, socially just, and economically fair farming systems through agroecology.
