The Kim Lembo Project
is a collection of rotating bay area musicians with front person, Kim Lembo. Whether with her full band or, solo Lembo brings Blues, Roots and Americana soulfulness combined with poetic lyrics and storytelling. Her voice is big and echoes a kind of Etta James meets Lucinda Williams if they played in a band with Mary Gauthier. It is the sound of music you cannot define by a singular genre. She sings from her soul with songs written from the heart. Lembo has played all over the US and has recorded in France, California, NY. Originally from Syracuse, NY she currently resides in the Bay Area, California.
Emily Zisman is a folk-Americana singer-songwriter born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. As a writer, she takes her cues from artists like Dar Williams, Joni Mitchell, and Ani DiFranco. She sings of our vulnerabilities and fears, love and fight, crafting her lyrics into song with her soulfully-folk voice evocative of Emmylou Harris.
Eki Shola composes music that allows listeners to relax and ease the daily stressors of life. As a physician, she has witnessed how the physical and emotional manifestations of stress and spiritual disconnection can adversely impact the ability to live an enriched and fulfilled life. Her debut album, Final Beginning, mixes chilltronica ambient piano and synths, syncopated beats, jazz organ riffs, and vocals, compelling listeners to engage with her music in the here and now. Her creation is a mystical, funky, electro soul journey to which all can emotionally relate.
