This three-day workshop led by Ray McClure will be an introduction to Unreal Engine as a tool for visionary exploration and artistic expression. UE4’s visual scripting language, Blueprints, is an accessible way to create procedural animation and interaction so artists, designers and developers are all welcome.
Unreal Engine 4 is an industry leader for game development with the ability to render scenery that ranges from nearly photo-realistic to completely alien. The UE4 editor offers intuitive development of interactive 2D and 3D spaces.

Cost: $270 (9 hours x $30)
Requirements: a recent Macbook Pro or similar Windows gaming laptop with Unreal Engine 4.16 installed.
What will you learn: the basics of 3D development, scripting in Blueprints, modeling using BSP geometry, materials, lighting and environmental effects.
