Get upside down can be terrifying, but exciting and opening. This workshop will provide you with safety and strength to trust your own body when your world is turned upright! We will incorporate standing balancing asanas that directly apply to the upcoming arm balance. We will also master the shoulder girdle, focus extensively on building specific core strength, and cover the principles of alignment, bone stacking, a conscious center, and bandha «body locks.» This workshop will assist you in finding a greater range of motion in the hips, while maintaining skeletal alignment, so that you are able to engage the support needed to sustain arm balances and remain upside down with confidence!
