• 7-9PM: Closing celebration of «Group Hang,» our first public exhibition featuring new work by 50 past MPK artists in residence, and book launch for «Open Form,» our newly-published hardbound, 480pp book that showcases over 200 site-specific installations completed globally by AIRs since 2012.
The book also includes a fascinating longform introductory essay by curator and scholar Natasha Boas that traces the evolution of Bay Area counterculture and cyberculture and examines the intersections between tech and art and the creative minds working in both fields.
**All proceeds from the sale of the book at the event will benefit The Lab.**
