Happy birthday, Fred Lyon! On this special day, we're excited to share with you that our upcoming exhibition will feature photographs by the iconic San Francisco photographer. The Gallery at Leica Store San Francisco, in collaboration with Peter Fetterman Gallery will be exhibiting a newly released selection of Fred Lyon’s iconic photographs of San Francisco made between 1940-1960. Join us on Thursday, October 12 between 6pm and 8pm for an artist reception and launch of his latest book, San Francisco Noir, published by Princeton Architectural Press. The text, by Ernest Beyl, and foreword by collector and publisher Nion McEvoy sets the stage. In this latest offering of Fred Lyon's B&W photographs: San Francisco Noir, Lyon presents a darker tone, exploring the hidden corners of his native city. The exhibition will consist of fifty B&W prints and run between October 12 and December 30, 2017.
