East Bay Mixed Winter League is the East Bay's beginner to intermediate friendly option for mixed gender, league ultimate during the winter season.
League Schedule, Game Times and Location
The league kicks off on November 7 with its skills clinic, and league games run on Tuesday and Thursday nights, November 9 — February 22 – taking off for a few weeks around the holidays. Games are held at two separate times at Raimondi Park in Oakland:
8:30pm — 9:45pm
9:45pm — 11:00pm
Teams will only have one game per week, and teams will have a mix of Tuesday and Thursday games at each time throughout the season. The season schedule will be announced before the start of the season.
Discounted, early bird registration opens on Monday, October 23 at 12:00 Noon, and it closes on Tuesday, October 31. Regular registration opens on Wednesday, November 1.
Because of limited space for men in the mixed league, a new lottery system is being implemented this season. If the registration cap is hit for men within the first five days of registration, all men that register by Friday, October 27 will be placed in a lottery to be awarded spots in the league. Men that register after October 27 will not be eligible to participate in the lottery. If the registration cap is not hit by October 27, spots in the league will be awarded on first come, first served basis. Please contact [email protected]
with any questions.
Men on the waitlist are encouraged to register for East Bay Men's Winter League – a men's league that also plays on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Raimondi Park.
Baggaging with players to be on the same team is discouraged unless you have a carpool/rideshare or other logistics situation, or if you are mentoring a beginning player. If this is the case, please fill out the baggage field with the person you are baggaging and reason.
The league offers a mixed division, with a 4:3 gender ratio format.
East Bay Winter League discs are included in every registration.
The league will once again offer an end of season party that all players are encouraged to attend. Stay turned for more details!
Please complete the financial aid application if you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford fees for participation in a Bay Area Disc program. Bay Area Disc has limited funds to distribute in financial aid and will not be able to fund 100% of all applicants’ requests. Please be mindful of this when making requests. A committee consisting of the Bay Area Disc's Executive Director and Manager of Adult Programs will review your request and inform you of their decision. Applications should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start date of the program. Applicants are also encouraged to submit applications prior to registration dates. Accepted applicants that submit applications prior to registration dates will receive discount codes to use during registration.
