Andy Allo

Cameroon-born singer and songwriter Andy Allo is an artist who is truly paving her own path with a sound and vibe that is uniquely her own.

Andy released her first album, UnFresh in 2009 and two years later, joined Prince's New Power Generation as a singer/guitarist and worked with the legend on her sophomore album, Superconductor. That album featured a funk/soul sound and made it to #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. She has performed on Jimmy Kimmel, Guitar Center Sessions and showed her acoustic chops on Billboard Sessions Exclusive.

In 2015, she released an EP titled, Hello, featuring 4 songs where she explored her love for pop and rock. Now having released her next project, One Step Closer EP, Andy dives deeper in to her acoustic singer-songwriter roots. Of her new project, Andy explains, “I feel like this is just the beginning of my story. It’s a journey but with every record, I feel I’m get closer to who I am as an artist and songwriter. There's still a lot I want to share with the world."

Andy has toured extensively throughout Europe, Canada and is embarking on a 25 city US tour starting April 2017 and will be doing a residency in Melbourne, Australia this summer. She will also be seen in the anticipated sequel, Pitch Perfect 3, set to be released in theaters December 22nd.

«We knew she'd be leading her own revolution soon,» adds Prince. Indeed, that soon is now.

Every once in a while, an artist emerges onto the national scene, who is so compelling, so completely her own, that critics and fans take note immediately.

Emerging artist Cleome effortlessly encompasses several facets of the blues, and her deeply soulful, heartfelt and sincerely gifted approach to the more popular song genre make her a near unforgettable new performer. Her songs are thought provoking and raw, whether tackling her own self-penned tunes, or the Hill-country Blues inspired music that she profoundly inhabits.
With a unique and compelling vocal tone accompanying her stellar slide and consummate finger picking, Cleome has wowed audiences form Cuba to San Francisco, Arkansas to Oakland, and New York to Clarksdale Mississippi. She frequently plays in the great musical city of New Orleans. Her deep Americana soul sound carries the echoes of her time in New Orleans and traveling in the south, while drawing from her diverse musical palate that reaches into many popular song genres form Neo-Soul, RnB and Folk. She has one self produced EP available, playing along with Blues Award winning drummer and 2016 Grammy Nominee, Cedric Burnside.
