Come see the world premiere of music from The Red Shades: A Trans Superhero Rock Opera! This is a one-time opportunity to check out this epic work in progress. A 7-piece band will be playing through a selection of songs. There will be opportunities for the audience to give feedback.

\\ Written and Directed by Adrienne Price
Music by Adrienne Price and Jeanine Adkisson \\

The story follows a teenage trans girl, Ida, who unlocks her super powers after experiencing the traumas of small-town life in the sixties. Eventually, she runs away and joins a gang of trans super heroes squatting in the Tenderloin. They use magic collectively to defend the community against the police and other enemies of their liberation.

Hang out with us after the show! There will be dancing and tunes by DJ Peach Thief until 11pm.
