After a decade of teaching their signature intensive together, OTM founders have created a new training with this specific outcome in mind. This training is for anyone interested in deepening their leadership and understanding of the current challenges that face our planet today. It will be led by OTM Co-Founders Seane Corn, Hala Khouri, and Suzanne Sterling joined by Rev. angel Kyodo williams. We are interested in looking at the current political landscape in a psychological, symbolic and practical way.

WE WILL EXPLORE:
THE MYTH OF INDIVIDUAL LIBERATION: INTERDEPENDENCE AS OUR DEEPEST TRUTH
THE LIMITS OF RATIONAL THINKING: EMBODIMENT, RITUAL AND SYMBOLS AS SOURCES OF KNOWLEDGE
IMAGINING OUR FUTURE: MOVING BEYOND CRITICISM OF WHAT IS INTO DREAMING WHAT WE WANT

Each day will begin with a yoga and somatic practices meant to ground the themes into our body, hearts and minds. The afternoons will be spent doing interactive work exploring the themes and generating ideas and wisdom as a collective.

Day 1 & 2: Beyond the Chakras: separation as the root of our suffering. Exploring personal and ancestral history’s influence on how we walk in the world.
Day 2 & 3: I am not free until everyone is free- justice as how we live love in public
Day 3 &4: What are we imagining? Creating visions of the future. What kind of world do we want to contribute to and what steps does it take to get there?

You do not have to be a yoga teacher or a yoga practitioner to attend. We strive to make this work for people of all abilities so please inquire if you have a disability or are differently abled. Basic experience with yoga is helpful but not required if you are comfortable trying something new in this context. Reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
