SF Sketchfest is back at NightLife for a knee-slapping night of creatures, cocktails, and comedy as part of the 17th Annual SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival.
DJ sets by New Wave City
→ Join in for a night of irreverent science, featuring a live version of the comedy podcast This Week in Science.
→ Partake in an interactive game called “Thinkers and Drinkers”, which combines two of our favorite things: booze and science. You’ll ask a panel of scientists some of life’s toughest questions; they’ll play a drinking game and (attempt) to deliver brilliant answers.
→ The main Piazza stage will be a showcase for a stand-up comedy lineup featuring Bay Area favorites Nicole Calasich, Imran G, and Valerie Vernal, and visiting comics Shain Brendan, Dana Gould, Shannon Noll, Greg Santos, Eddie Della Siepe, and Blake Weller.
→ For fans of «The Evil Dead»: IFC’s Stan Against Evil, created by Dana Gould, is a horror-comedy about two small town sheriffs fighting supernatural demons; cast members Deborah Baker, Jr., Nate Mooney, Steven Ogg, and Janet Varney will talk about fighting the forces of evil.
→ And finally, don’t forget to take a “Sketchy Tour of the Night Sky,” the annual opportunity for our planetarium presenters to do their best space-themed stand-up.
— Last entry for our Rainforest dome is at 7:45 pm. Please note: drinks are not allowed inside the Rainforest exhibit.
— Planetarium passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early event arrival is strongly recommended due to limited capacity and high demand for passes.
— Enjoy a different fresh seasonal «craft on draft» cocktail at each NightLife bar area. All bars accept cash and credit cards.
— A variety of food options are available at NightLife, including The Academy Café, The Terrace, and a food cart located in the front lobby.
— Special programs and lectures may have limited seating and admission will also be made available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
— Programming lineup subject to change.
