GREAT TIME is excited to present their long anticipated release GREAT ALBUM. One listen front to back will have you forgetting whether you’re couch surfing or crowd surfing. At their live shows, GREAT TIME's range inspires a kaleidoscope of emotions not to mention dance moves. Fronted by Bay Area native Jill Ryan, their music attracts all types of ears, and is influenced by artists that go as hard as Nirvana, as gentle as Sufjan Stevens, and as dancy as Little Dragon. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, GREAT TIME built a recording studio on a farm outside Philly, where they live and produce themselves and other bands.
«Little Arcs began at the onset of 2017, when three long-time musical collaborators convened at a Chinese restaurant in East Oakland. It was immediately clear that the three were eager to embark on something together, though none knew specifically which musical form it would take. This unbiased approach to genre and form would soon become a cornerstone of Little Arcs’ creative process. The band is a meeting place for three distinct artistic backgrounds, the common thread of which is a deep love for vocal harmony and arrangement. Taking great liberties with song structure and instrumentation, the trio builds its sound from the strong foundation of vocal clarity and attunement on which it prides itself. In all that it does, Little Arcs strives to put the voice first, always ‘play the room,’ and never leave an audience feeling the same way twice. In the year since the group began, the three have performed throughout the Bay Area, moved into the same house together, and shown no signs of stopping on their journey of limitless musical potential.»
Rex Ruit is a trio from Oakland, CA that plays a mishmash of shoegaze, math, and emo.
