We are very excited to announce our 2018 Gray Area Festival of Art + Technology. Join us as we cultivate dialogue around the most pertinent topics in the field. We have a lot in store for you and can't wait to share the full lineup of speakers, artists and performers.
Early bird festival passes are online now but will go up as lineups are announced so secure yours as soon as possible. Please note: Sunday Workshop Day not included in Festival Pass.
The Festival Pass includes entrance to Thursday nigh...t exhibition opening, Friday and Saturday Day Conference, Friday and Saturday Night performances. Please note: Sunday Workshop Day tickets will be sold separately.

THURSDAY — EXHIBITION TBA
Works showcased at Gray Area Festival span diverse mediums including mechanical sculpture, virtual reality, projection mapping, computer games, and machine assisted drawing. Our exhibitions touch on topics such as kinetic light, digital cinema, alternate worlds, biologic music composition, and open source, providing a cross-section of work dealing intimately with the relationship between art and technology.

The conference days will invite leading thinkers and artists for discussions that uncover art and technology’s impact on culture.
The Gray Area Festival has showcased international thought leaders in art, technology, design, architecture, urban planning, data visualization, and public policy, among other fields. We have also given a platform to emerging practitioners and the beginning of their creative explorations, both from San Francisco and around the world.

On Sunday of the Gray Area Festival, join us for a selection of Creative Code workshops taught by ten talented instructors. Four workshops will be held during Session 1 (11am-2pm) and four workshops will be held during Session 2 (3pm-6pm), take one from each set for 6-hours of learning! Workshop Pass not included in Festival Pass.
