We at St James Infirmary feel it is not only beneficial to be Narcan trained, but also can save a life by effectively responding to an opioid-associated overdose emergency.
We invite our community to join us Thursday, May 17, 2018, for a Naloxone (Narcan) training that will cover; identifying an overdose, first response, how to administer Narcan in an emergency, and recovery response practices.
St James Infirmary advocates for widespread access to overdose education and training in how to administer naloxone, the life-saving antidote for opioid-associated overdose and seeks to increase the number of lives saved by bystanders and within our communities.
Find out how you can contribute to reducing overdose ...death by attending this important, life changing training
Please RSVP, no later then May 15th, 2018
St James is wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are gender neutral and wheelchair accessible. It is not a scent free space.
