GEAR UP AND GO OUT TO THE CASTRO — PRIDE EDITION
Saturday, June 16, 2018
UPDATE (4/18/18): The schedule has changed slightly, as we will now be ending the crawl at The Edge to celebrate a special Daddy's Day edition of CODE!
Leather makes everything better – let’s fill the Castro with leather pride!
Our last invasion attracted over 100 people decked in their best gear strolling the Castro. June is Pride month — let's celebrate the great diversity of our community!
Mr. San Francisco Leather 2018 invites you to gear up in your favorite leather, rubber, neoprene, or other gear — and go out!
This is a call to the Bay Area’s leather and kink communities to socialize in one of the nation’s most recognized LGBT neighborhoods. Put on your favorite gear and join a crawl through seven different venues — increasing our visibility everywhere we go. This will be a low-stress, high-impact chance to meet members of your community while being seen!
Spread the word – the larger the group, the more fun (and more visibility). Please be respectful of all these bars who have been serving the LGBT community for years. This is a chance to show our patronage while building community. Join us on June 16 for the following pub crawl:
Beaux (2344 Market Street)
We will all meet up at this heavily windowed lounge
Jane Warner Plaza (Castro and Market)
Twin Peaks (401 Castro Street)
The historic gay bar that may be the first to have street facing windows!
Walk down Castro to 18th
The Mix (4086 18th Street)
Great split level (and accessible) patio!
Moby Dick's (4049 18th Street)
Midnight Sun (4067 18th Street)
Nizarrio's Pizza (4077 18th Street)
We'll be at these locations a little longer in case anyone needs to grab a quick bite to eat from Nizarrio’s
Walk up 18th
The Edge (4149 18th)
This long standing Castro bar recently became the first in the city to fly the rubber pride flag! This night they will be hosting CODE (recently named Best (non-contest) Leather Event in a Bar by the Bay Area Reporter). The CODE theme will be daddies/boys/green hankies (in honor of Father’s Day weekend).
