When celebrating the person who dreamt up something as mind-blowing as Burning Man — and then grew it from a small gathering on a beach into a global phenomenon — you gotta pull out all the stops. Join us as we joyfully celebrate Larry Harvey’s life and legacy through storytelling, art, video, photography, drama, performance, live music, marching bands, bagpipes, Lamplighters, clowns, freaks and serendipitous surprises. Help us mark the end of an era, as we turn the page to Burning Man’s next chapter.
A memorial “art offering” altar will be displayed at the event for people to contribute to, which will ultimately be burned in Black Rock City.
Will Chase and Rosalie Barnes, in partnership with Burning Man Project, bring you The Man with the Hat: A Celebration of Larry Harvey's Life and Legacy, at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
Please join us for what will be a wonderful event, and participate in its creation!
Come dressed in whatever beautiful outfit your heart desires!
