We invite you to learn more about Native American Health Center’s (NAHC), newly opened community room space located in Oakland’s Fruitvale District called the C.E.D.A.R. Center. (C.E.D.A.R. = Community Education, Development, Activity and Resource Center). We will have drummers, dancers, food, native jewelry for sale and free parking!
The Native American Health Center has served the Bay Area’s Native American population, as well as other under-served populations for the past 46 years. To further its mission and commitment of enhancing quality of life for all through culturally competent, holistic, and patient-centered health care, NAHC is opening the Cedar Center to address the social determinants of health. Programming at the CEDAR Center will provide educational trainings, workshops, community gatherings, and other events that promote and support healthy lifestyles.
